The IE expo China portfolio is expanding its focus to include air pollution control and green technologies. German companies may register until 21 January 21st to be part of the official German Pavilion.

About the official German Pavilion
IE expo China has been an integral part of the IFAT family for years. As VDMA also continuesly see opportunities for environmental technologies produced by its members, it has once again ensured that the trade fair will appear in the federal government's foreign trade fair program 2025.
German companies have the opportunity to register for the German pavilion via the AUMA online portal (after prior registration) until January 21st, 2025. The subsidized participation fee is € 370.00/m² (with stand construction) and € 1,000.00 for participation within the information center. expotec gmbh with its contact person Benedikt van den Woldenberg have been appointed as the implementation company.

About IE expo in China
As part of the IFAT family, IE expo China focuses on water and wastewater technology and waste management. In line with Vhina's "Double Carbon" goals, the upcoming edition will also place new emphasis on the circular economy and the green technologies that contribute to it. The program will be supplemented by topics relating to air pollution control and purification.
In 2024, 2,457 companies exhibited in front of 90,120 visitors at the exhibition center in Shanghai. A total of 22 exhibitors were represented within the official German Pavilion, including 18 main exhibitors, three sub-exhibitors and one company in the information center.
In addition to the edition in Shanghai, there are further editions of IE expo in Chengdu, Gunangzhou and Shenzhen. however, IE expo China (Shanghai) is the most frequented edition by exhibitors and visitors and therefore also the only one in the federal government's foreign trade fair program.
