It is becoming increasingly difficult to get pupils interested in technical professions. Demographic change is intensifying the race for the best minds. In this WebERFA, Stefan Grötzschel and Frederik Knack, VDMA Education, discuss which factors are actually important for the current generation when choosing a career. They will also discuss which measures work to attract trainees and apprentices and how mechanical engineering companies can successfully position themselves to develop a reputation as a good address for young talent in their own region. You will receive an overview of successful approaches from the wealth of experience of VDMA member companies.
