The OPC Specification for Additive Manufacturing
The release candidate OPC 40540 for Additive Manufacturing was published in December 2024
The current status and further developments will be discussed at this meeting.
In addition, Alexander Peitz from AZL will present a research project at RWTH Aachen University at the Aachen Center for Integrative Lightweight Construction: the design and initial implementation of a machine model for additive manufacturing machines that is as generic as possible. The system is specifically adapted for laser powder bed fusion and the automated tape laying of thermoplastic fiber composite components.
