The Sector Group VDMA Productronics  is pleased to invite you to the conference at Neways Electronics in Riesa. 
The focus will be on electronics production for semiconductor solutions, defense & mobility, and connectivity (e.g., AI, 5G introduction).
 
Highlights from industry, research, and politics

• Michiel van der Maat, Neways Electronics, will provide information on the requirements for machine manufacturers for the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards and on how a global electronics development, service, and production company positions itself between the US and China.
• Neways production tour: Direct insights into the assembly and testing of complex printed circuit boards & assemblies
• Jörg Arnold, TOKYO ELECTRON Europe LIMITED, reports on how AI can help a semiconductor machine manufacturer achieve its sustainability goals.
• Prof. Golta Khatibi, TU Wien & ReLab Research GmbH will present an innovative, highly accelerated mechanical testing method for microelectronic components.
• Dr. Andreas Berns, Head of Project Management for the BMFTR, will provide insights into the “German High-Tech Agenda for Microelectronics” and its goals.
• The presentation by Dr. Jakob Stöber and Dr. Alexander Krieg, McKinsey, will focus on the impact of the NATO defense budget on the equipment supply industry.
   

Networking dinner
On the evening of November 4th , 2025, we cordially invite you to a networking dinner at the Hammer Bräu Restaurant, featuring a keynote speech by Hans Büthker, CEO of Neways Electronics International, on the topic of “Innovation meets precision – shaping the future together.”
