Exchange of experience in chemical recycling
Chemical recycling encompasses a wide range of processes. For some years now, smaller plants have been emerging that deal with waste streams that are difficult to process mechanically. The Fraunhofer Umsicht has created an interactive map of plants and projects, which we would like to present at the Erfa. We look forward to active participation, questions and opinions on the topic.

This Erfa meeting calls on the participants' assessments and experience. As with many other technologies, the question of market prospects and ramp-up remains: What is the potential of chemical recycling? Which countries are active in this field in Europe?
Professor Matthias Franke heads the Sulzbach-Rosenberg branch of the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety, and Energy Technology UMSICHT and will give us a brief introduction to the interactive map of plants and projects in Europe and the research being conducted at the institute. Afterwards, the participants will be asked to contribute—if you have worked on a project or your company is involved in this topic, please let me know in advance and I will include your contribution in the agenda.
