Together with Aramco Overseas we are organizing an event on Oil & Gas and Petrochem Supply Chain Opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

The event is going to highlight sourcing needs and processes of Saudi Aramco but also will have a strong focus on future sourcing strategies. Since Aramco is aiming to cover most of its demand by local suppliers the company has introduced the In Kingdom Total Value Added (IKTVA) program. IKTVA includes advantages for local suppliers as well as incentives for foreign companies setting up manufacturing sites in Saudi Arabia. Therefore we include presentations from SPARK – an industrial zone that might serve as a future location – and the Ministry of Investment. VDMA-member company WIKA set up a manufacturing site in Al Khobar in 2018 and will give you some insights in motivation and experiences. AHK Riad will share some general information on current situation in Saudi Arabia.
