Research Association of Industrial Furnace Manufactures
The FOGI - Research Association of Industrial Furnace Manufactures evolved from the VDMA Thermo Process Technology Department. Our members are active in the fields of heating, melting and casting of metals, heat and surface treatment of metals, ceramics and glass as well as firing technology.
Our aim is joint research in the pre-competitive field. We focus on the development and optimisation of thermo-processing techniques and plants, among other things in the areas of resource conservation, recovery of valuable materials and CO2 reduction. In order to support the practical implementation of the research results in the member companies, we offer an annual seminar.
