The Fluid Power Association presented its activity report at the general meeting on October 9–10, 2025, in Erfurt/Germany. It summarises key priorities and activities and provides an outlook on future directions.

From March to June 2025, the ISO/TC 131/SC 4 subcommittee, Connectors and similar products and components, and its working groups met online. Two working groups will have a new German chairperson at the turn of the year.
ISO published the new ISO 18464 standard in May 2025. It describes a procedure for the design of energy-efficient hydraulic systems.
The directory contains information on the products of over 1,000 companies, both manufacturers and suppliers, in the European fluid power industry.
The Fluid Power Association represents almost 240 member companies with a total turnover of 8.5 billion euros and almost 40,000 employees. The export ratio is over 60 % on average.
Ten member companies and the Fluid 4.0 joint project presented drive and fluid technology solutions for the construction machinery industry. The response from exhibitors was consistently positive.
The Fluid Power Association is an industry-related service provider for more than 220 member companies, all of them manufacturers in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics and sealing technology.
The Fluid Power Research Fund takes up industry-related topics in the pre-competitive area and carries them out with research centers and industry project-accompanying working committees.
The trade association offers its members a wide range of market information. No other source provides such meaningful and up-to-date data for fluid power.
