VDMA Mining & Minerals represents the interests of companies in the mining technology sector which manufacture machinery and equipment for the extraction and processing of raw materials at the surface and underground, as well as companies in the mining consulting, research and development sectors.

Around 160, mainly medium-sized companies are organized in VDMA Mining & Minerals, representing more than 90 per cent of the total turnover volume. For our members, we bundle industry-specific information on all relevant current topics in the fields of market, technology and research. Within the framework of working groups, steering committees and also ad-hoc committees, we are strongly committed to their interests. The members of VDMA Mining & Minerals achieve an export quota that varies between 90 per cent and 96 per cent. This ranks us among the most export-intensive branches of the German machinery and equipment manufacturing.
