Florian Scholl: Order intake August 2025

The ups and downs in order intake in machinery and equipment manufacturing continued in August. In the first eight months, companies recorded growth four times and orders fell four times compared with the previous year. August disappointed expectations with a real decline in orders of 7 percent, with domestic orders down 5 percent on the previous year and foreign orders down 8 percent.
