Dr. Johannes Gernandt: Order intake October 2025

Order intake in the mechanical and plant engineering sector in Germany rose by 4 percent in real terms in October compared with the same month last year. The impetus came from non-euro countries, which contributed a 9 percent increase in orders. Orders from Germany and euro partner countries remained at the previous year's level. Overall, orders from abroad increased by 6 percent.
