in 2021, Germany exported machinery and equipment worth around 4.4 billion euros to ASEAN. The ASEAN region is fragmented and the markets are developed to varying degrees. Each country brings its own special features, so that one has to deal intensively with each target market.
During the event, we will address this heterogeneous as well as dynamic economic area of the ASEAN countries. We will present the special features, challenges and opportunities of this exciting region for the mechanical engineering industry. Monika Hollacher, VDMA foreign trade officer, will present facts and figures on the individual countries. Frank Malerius, Representative Indonesia, Germany Trade & Invest - Gesellschaft für Außenwirtschaft und Standortmarketing mbH) will highlight the opportunities for mechanical engineering in the ASEAN countries. Afterwards, Anil Menon, Managing Director, CLAAS regional Center South East Asia, and Lukas Viebrock, CLAAS Regional Sales Development Manager Asia, will report on their experiences in this region.
The event is aimed at sales specialists and managers.

ProduktionNRW sees itself as a platform for networking, informing and marketing companies, institutions and networks among themselves and along the value chain. Significant parts of the services provided by ProduktionNRW are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
