Reporting in the context of sustainability is intended, among other things, to create transparency for investors and banks and to make it easier for companies that operate sustainably to access financing. It is also expected that companies that can demonstrate their sustainability will be able to generate competitive advantages in the public eye. Even if you as an SME are not currently affected by reporting requirements, or are only indirectly affected, you should familiarize yourself with both the requirements and the advantages at an early stage.
