The VDMA Machine Information Interoperability department develops interoperable interfaces based on OPC UA and shows their implementation through the umati initiative. The results in the area of OPC UA Companion Specifications and their harmonization through OPC UA for Machinery as the basis of umati will be presented.
umati promotes the worldwide implementation of OPC UA Companion Specifications and offers a comprehensive dashboard as well as a strong community with numerous international partners and an established brand.
