The 3rd VDMA Management Meeting Process Technology DACH / Italy / Mediterranean / MENA will take place this time in Rome on the sidelines of the European Summit organized by the VDMA, the family gathering at C-level and senior Management level of the European mechanical and plant engineering industry, in person from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on March 12, 2026. 

The “VDMA Management Meeting Process Technology DACH / Italy / Mediterranean / MENA” is aimed at managing directors, sales and regional sales, as well as project and marketing directors, and brings together European technology players along the hydrocarbon and H2 / Net-Zero technolgy chain. We expect around 20 participants from the DACH region, Italy, and a few from other EU countries. The event will be held in English.

Programme
As usual, the VDMA will once again present the latest export figures for process technology in Europe and globally, with a special focus on Italy, DACH, Mediterranean and MENA. In addition to the traditional economic roundtable, in which each participant briefly introduces himself and gives a very brief outlook from their company perspective, this time we will be looking at experiences with SAF and other Net-Hero Solutions for energy-intensive process industries, as well as the topic of hydrogen regulation in Europe and globally.

Conditions of participation
The event is free of charge for VDMA members and is aimed at managing directors and executives from sales, project management, and marketing who are interested in the European and international markets for oil, gas, petrochemicals, hydrogen, and decarbonization solutions. 

Guests from the mechanical and plant engineering sector can participate up to three times upon request; after that, membership is expected. We also invite occasional guests from user industries.
