Erfa of the WCM/NuV working group - Digitalization in food, packaging, pharmaceutical/cosmetics machines and process plants
The open exchange of experiences will take place on February 19, 2025 at the Future Food Factory OWL in Lemgo. The event serves as a networking platform on the topic of digitalization in the field of food process technology. It is aimed at machine and plant manufacturers, component suppliers and food manufacturers. Under the motto "where food meets IT", the Future Food Factory OWL at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences offers a unique research and development environment for the food technology of the future. The construction of the Future Food Factory OWL was funded by the ERDF, the European Regional Development Fund, with around 10 million euros as part of the "Smart FOODFACTORY" project. The Future Food Factory OWL has a wide range of facilities in the factory hall and laboratories for research purposes.

- Smart Mashing Plant, cyber-physical system for the continuous production of beer mash
- SmartPas Plant, flash pasteurization plant for beverages with cyber-physical control
- Modular pilot plant for plant-based drink production
- Gea Rotoramik membrane filtration (microfiltration)
During the lunch break, we offer you food and drinks for refreshment.
Those arriving the evening before should book their own hotel. No pre-event is planned.
