"Said is not understood, understood is not accepted, accepted is not yet applied" - as far as is known. In practice, however, it is too often the case that communication is the illusion that it has taken place. Leadership communication in particular must reach and engage employees. Reason enough to present and discuss the core competencies of successful leadership in the company.

Dr. Reinhard Schmitt, P1 Consulting GmbH, and Andrea Veerkamp-Walz, VDMA, will guide you through the afternoon. Short impulses will be given on the following aspects, among others:

• Why leadership communication so often fails
• The three core competencies of successful leadership: listening, asking questions, giving feedback

Note: In this workshop we will work with the digital whiteboard "Mural", which will be explained at the beginning. Active participation in the groups is essential, the agenda includes exercises, group work and exchange.
