With our 870 member companies, we are the network organization and mouthpiece of the mechanical and plant engineering industry in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

We promote practical dialog between our members through a wide range of events for sharing experiences and information along the entire value chain. In our face-to-face and online formats, we offer participants access to a large network of experts as well as consulting and support services. The focus of our work continues to be the representation of interests towards politics, administration, science, banks and the public. Especially in times of multiple crises, it is important to us to be a reliable and binding partner for stakeholders by transferring knowledge, strengthening the network and communicating transparently. We provide our members with the knowledge they need to secure competitive advantages and strengthen their position in the market.

At the end of October, we had the pleasure of visiting DEHN SE in Mühlhausen near Neumarkt in Bavaria with our Lean expert group. DEHN is a leading, internationally active family-owned electrical engineering company whose products protect people and buildings, plant and telecommunications technology, the process industry as well as photovoltaic and wind power plants. The company offers solutions and services for lightning protection, surge protection and occupational safety and is active worldwide with more than 2,500 employees in over 70 countries.
