Lenze Austria GmbH, founded in 1971, is part of the global Lenze Group, which employs more than 3,600 people across 45 countries and generated a total revenue of €828 million in the 2023/2024 fiscal year.
Lean Management is not only practiced at Lenze Austria, but has also been consistently developed further in recent years. The production site in Asten has recently evolved into a central hub for the EMEA East region. With the construction of a state-of-the-art, fully automated warehouse system and a new assembly plant, Lenze Austria is now one of the leading providers of intelligent automation and drive technology, and has also established itself as a logistics center for the entire Central and Eastern European region.
This transformation has been recognized not only internally but also externally: In June 2024, Lenze Austria was honored by the corporate platform “StEP-Up” as Austria’s Lean Management flagship company. This recognition confirms the outstanding implementation of Lean principles and the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and cross-organizational exchange.
At our experience exchange on 4th November 2025, you can look forward to an exciting presentation of Lenze Austria’s Lean culture by Plant Manager Alfred Ritirc and Lean Coordinator Dietmar Leonhardsberger. In addition, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive plant tour showcasing the practical implementation of Lenze’s Lean approach, followed by an interactive workshop to reflect on what you’ve seen together with industry colleagues, moderated by VDMA Lean Management expert Felix Prumbohm. Take advantage of this event to network, learn from each other, and gain new inspiration for your own company.
Please note that safety shoes must be worn during the factory tour. Shoe covers will be provided on site. If you have your own safety shoes, please bring them with you to the event.
We look forward to your active participation!
