Tax policy: One of the most frequently invoked words of our time is "turnaround". The fact that this is also necessary for corporate tax law seems to be gaining more and more traction with the German government. We provide a brief overview of what is happening in Berlin in terms of tax policy.
Employee secondment: Mobile working abroad is becoming increasingly important in many companies. However, this gives rise to a wide range of risks in the fields of social security, payroll tax and, not least, corporate tax law with regard to permanent establishments. In order to minimize these risks abroad, various service providers are now active on the market, who take over the handling of such employees for you. We would like to discuss with you to what extent such constructions are suitable to eliminate all risks.
Transfer pricing: As part of the reform of the external tax audit adopted last year, some important regulations relating to transfer pricing documentation were made at the same time. We would like to take this as an opportunity to discuss the legal basis with the corresponding changes as well as the general structure of transfer pricing documentation.
(Tax) accounting law/imaging of tax research funding: Since there is still little legal certainty regarding the accounting treatment of funding, we will discuss with you the accounting consequences of tax research funding.
Update on trade tax: We provide a brief update on issues relating to trade tax addition and show what the collection procedure of the future will look like with the upcoming digital trade tax assessment.
Group accident insurance in payroll tax: Many employers take out insurance policies for possible accidents, especially but not exclusively, for their field staff. Often, not only business-related but also private trips are included here. We would like to discuss the various case groups of such insurance contracts as well as the handling of these matters in payroll tax.
In addition, we would like - as already announced - to enter into an intensive exchange of experiences with all participants. We have planned sufficient time for this at this event. What tax issues are you currently working on? Which topics are taken up in tax audits? In an open round, we want to address your topics together. To this end, we ask you to bring a tax topic that is burning for you and to present it during the event.
The face-to-face event will take place at the Ibis Hotel Dortmund West and is aimed at specialists and managers from the areas of tax and management.
Speakers: Monika Weltin, Deputy Head of Department, amd Florian Schmidt, Consultant, both VDMA Taxes
Moderation: Klaus Möllemann
Registration deadline: 18.05.2023
